Network Engineering will
be performing infrastructure upgrades in Life Science II on Friday October
2nd, 2015.
This maintenance is
scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM (10/02/15) and last until 2:00 AM (10/03/15).
While the maintenance is scheduled for 8.5 hours, we expect it to take
approximately 6 hours. The extra time has been allotted to account for any
unforeseen complications which may arise. During this time, LSII will be
without wired or wireless network connectivity.
Following the completion
of this maintenance, each networked host will have a 1 Gb connection to the
network and each wiring closet will have a 10 Gb uplink to the campus
network.
