The Southern Illinois University School of Law Federalist Society invites
you to attend our upcoming event. We
will be hosting a guest speaker, Alicia Hilton, on Thursday, April 2nd. The
event will be held in the law school courtroom at 2:00pm. The event is
titled “Preventing Police
Misconduct: The Dirty Harry Syndrome.” Professor Lucian Dervan will provide
commentary.
Alicia
Hilton is a law professor, Shearman & Sterling and Chadbourne & Parke
trained litigator, and former FBI Special Agent. She received her Juris Doctor
and Master's degrees from the University of Chicago, and she received her
Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Previously, she was a visiting scholar at
Chicago-Kent College of Law and a visiting professor at DePaul University
College of Law and the John Marshall Law School. She is taking time off from
full-time teaching to write a novel and work as an actor. She has joined the
cast of the NBC series CHICAGO PD as a detective. Prior to practicing law and
teaching law school, Hilton was an FBI Special Agent in New York. As an FBI
Special Agent, she was a member of a foreign counterintelligence squad and also
worked undercover in two long-term criminal cases, posing as a drug dealer with
