for the 42nd Annual Great Cardboard Boat Regatta on Saturday, April 25th at the
Boat Dock on Campus Lake. Registration and boat inspection begins at 10:00AM.
Boat registration is $15/boat. Races start at 1:00PM. There are a variety of
competition classes including boats powered by paddles, mechanical boats and
boats built on-the-spot the day of the contest. The Regatta also features a
youth division. Participants will vie for awards and trophies that go to the
top three finishers in each category and to the most creative entries. There’s
also a Titanic Award, given in honor of the most spectacular sinking. 7-foot by
8-foot sheets of cardboard - perfect for boat building - are available for $3
